Terms and conditions for using the biocartly platform, managing storefronts, and processing customer orders.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using biocartly, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. The Service

biocartly provides software for South African sellers to create storefronts, manage products, accept payments, and process orders. Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Yoco and PayFast.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for accurate account, store, and product information.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must protect your login credentials and payment provider keys.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use biocartly to sell illegal goods, counterfeit goods, stolen goods, adult services, or anything prohibited by South African law.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through PayFast. You may cancel at any time from billing settings. Subscription changes, failed payments, order limits, and feature access are governed by the plan active on your account.

6. Customer Transactions

Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders, handling customer support, managing refunds where required, and complying with consumer protection, tax, and other applicable laws.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your store content and grant biocartly a limited licence to host and display that content so we can operate the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

biocartly is provided as is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost revenue, or service interruptions.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
